Style a Guest Room Desk with Me

When preparing a guest room, I love using things in unexpected ways. A thoughtfully styled space makes guests feel special and welcomed, and adding a little personality makes all the difference.

For this setup, I was inspired by a beautiful vanity photo and wanted to bring in a touch of vintage charm—perfect for my friend who adores all things antique. Instead of the usual storage pieces, I reached for sterling silver treasures to create an elegant yet functional setup.

A Sugar Dish… for Sweets!
I filled a vintage sterling sugar dish with chocolate almonds—because who doesn’t love a little treat? It’s a small but thoughtful touch that adds warmth and hospitality to the space.

An Ice Bucket… for Healthy Snacks!
A vintage silver ice bucket became the perfect container for healthy snacks. It’s stylish and unexpected, proving that beautiful pieces don’t have to stay in their “assigned” roles.

Personal Touches
Nothing makes a guest feel more at home than thoughtful details. I framed a little picture of us together—it’s a simple yet meaningful way to make the space feel personal. And of course, I included the Wi-Fi password in an easy-to-spot place, so there’s no need for them to search for it.

The Essentials
Beyond the desk, a well-stocked bedside table is a must. I always make sure to have:
✔️ A glass or bottle of water
✔️ A small tray for jewelry or little belongings

With just a few intentional touches, your guest room desk can feel both beautiful and functional. Mixing vintage with everyday comforts makes the space warm and inviting. How do you like to style your guest room? Let me know in the comments!
